Lynn Pons LCSW

Lynn Pons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rosemont College, followed by her Masters degree in Social Work and Home School Visitor Certification through Marywood University.  She began her career at Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she served as a Clinical Supervisor matching children with mentors, conducting outreach in low-income communities, and offering preventive education on child sexual abuse. In addition, Lynn has worked as an Individual, Family and Marriage psychotherapist in a private practice and non-profit.

Holding her PA certification in School Social Work, Lynn has been employed as a School Social Worker by the Luzerne Intermediate Unit for over 15 years, working with special education students in individual and small groups.  She has been trained in School-Wide Positive Behavior Support, The Parents As Teachers Program, and has received her Trauma-Informed Certification. Additionally, she was coordinator for PAK’s New Moms’ Social Club and Toddler Talk.

Lynn takes a holistic approach to treatment with a focus on psycho-education, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies. She has experience working with children and adolescents with symptoms of anxiety and depression, focus and attention problems, behavioral challenges, trauma, and grief.  She currently sees patients at our Kingston office, and well as telehealth.
